William is a child of God through his faith in Jesus Christ. He has a deep passion for shepherding, preaching, & reading. William was born & raised in Cherryville, NC. He had the joy of marrying his childhood sweetheart, Maricara, & together they are blessed with three beautiful children: Paris, Landon, & Kennedy. Currently, William is pursuing a Master of Divinity degree

Melanie Splawn (Administrative Secretary)
Scott & Melanie joined Chapel Grove Baptist Church in 2002. Scott has been playing guitar and running sound for CGBC since 2004. Melanie became the administrative secretary in 2012. They have two sons, Zak & Luke.

Roger Painter (Church Administrator)
Roger and Cissy joined Chapel Grove Baptist Church in 1979. Roger became the church Administrator in October of 2019. They have three children, Chris, Jeff and Stephanie. Also seven grandchildren.

Joel Cochran (Music Director)
Joel returned after a short absence to the music director's position on Sunday, January 5th, 2020. Joel is married to Kristi and they have two children, Meaggan & Hunter.
