At Chapel Grove Baptist, we gather each Sunday morning to worship God. Because we believe the Bible is the only enduring foundation (Is. 40:18), we try to base every element of service on God's Word. We try to read the Bible, sing the Bible, pray the Bible, show the Bible, live the Bible and preach the Bible! We do this through the following elements:
To help us all meaningfully interact with each part of service, there is a designated service leader to guide our time together. These men aim to shepherd the congregation to worship thoughtfully and passionately.
We spend time each worship gathering praying. Usually, in the middle of service, there is a pastoral prayer offering supplications for our service, church body, other congregations and gospel concerns abroad.
Each Sunday we hear a sermon from a passage of Scripture. We aim for the sermons to explain what the passage says, show how it speaks of Christ and how it applies to us. Most sermons are between 40-50 minutes.
We love to sing to the Lord! We both open our services and conclude our services with singing God's praises. We aim to sing songs that are biblically rich in gospel truth, and we aim to sing with full-bodied and faith-filled joy!
As often as we gather as a church for morning worship, we intend to partake of the Lord's Supper. Each first Sunday of the month. We explain it's meaning, who is welcome to participate with us, and how Scripture calls us to come to the Table.
The Lord has wonderfully welcomed us through the cross! Because of this, we do our best to greet every person with the affection of Christ. We'll have an open seat and a warm welcome for ALL!

Our mission is to share the love of God and the message of salvation through Jesus Christ, and to serve our community with compassion and grace.
Our services usually run about 90 minutes.
Most of our congregation dresses pretty casually for service. Aside from general modesty, the Bible does not say much about our dress and external presentation. As scripture says, "man looks on the external appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart" (1 Samuel 16:7). Therefore, we believe God isn't concerned with us dressing either formally or casually, but rather we are worshiping Him in spirit and in truth. So if you join us for a service, please dress however you are most comfortable.
We do have "Children's Church" and provide childcare during our worship service. In Deut, 31:12, we are told, "Assemble the people, men, women, and little ones, and the sojourner within your towns, that they may hear and learn to fear the Lord your God, and be careful to do all the words of this law". Therefore, our hope is that older kids can stay with parents in the gathering and learn how to worship God.
To serve parents and help them minister to their children's varied needs, we have a family space at the rear of the sanctuary and a nursery room for ages 0-4 and Kingdom Kid's for grades K-4.
We offer ample parking on multiple sides of our campus. Most of our congregation typically parks in the rear lot near the church office; however, there is also parking in the front near the sanctuary.
